International Horizons Unlimited approaches a wide spectrum of environmental issues through establishing effective environmental strategies that can be applied to:

	The Texas Department of Health Task Force on Indoor Air Quality Guidelines for public buildings and schools has utilized the expertise of International Horizons Unlimited in the development of these guidelines.
	The University of Texas System develops risk management programs for its personnel, such as those dealing with indoor air quality (IAQ) and mold. International Horizons Unlimited assists with skills-based education in environmental risk management, and environmental issues prevention.
	The Texas Department of Health Task Force on Mold was established to assist the Texas legislature and the Texas Department of Health in meeting health and safety concerns for Texans relating to mold. Included are standards for assessment, certification for laboratories, licensing for remediation, and the establishment of a statewide public education and outreach program. This task force is utilizing the expertse of International Horizons Unlimited in the development of these standards.
	The Texas Apartment Association, the largest such association in the United States, brings together rental housing professionals. Education is one of the main objectives. International Horizons Unlimited assists with this goal through establishing practical educational programs which impact daily operations involving vital environmental issues like mold.

Issues such as Mold, Sick Schools, Volitile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Sick Buildings, Sick Building Syndrome (SBS), and Building Related Illnesses (BRI) require awareness, education, and evaluation to determine their existence, extent, approaches to re-mediation, and prevention in the future.
